Not always talent emerges suddenly. More often, it shall be hunted, fostered, nurtured.
There are lots of young artists who deserve to be discovered and to have the opportunity to show their talent and value.
One of arsprima’s main goals is to foster new talents. There it is, then: the first solo exhibition of Giulia Cassano, a young artist with a degree in Fashion Design and Visual Arts at the Brera Accademy of Fine Arts in Milan. The exhibition titled La femme d’à coté is curated by Cristina Gilda Artese.
This solo show, inspired by and based on the novel Fosca by Igino Ugo Tarchetti, one of the main representatives of “la Scapigliatura milanese” (t.i. the Italian equivalent of the French bohème) reveals the behind-the-scenes activity of the vicious and distorted world of the vampire and fatal woman.
The exhibition, featuring digital works and mixed media paintings, runs until July 31st at the Nur Gallery, Corso Italia 9, Milan. It is open to visitors by appointment only.
